The Paper Shelter - Your Love is out of This World

Good morning everyone!  We are starting a new challenge on the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog,  The theme this week is 'Make it Digital'. You do not need to use a digi from The Paper Shelter to enter the challenge, but those using an image from The Paper Shelter will be eligible to win a $30 gift certificate.  Any winner not using a Paper Shelter digi will win 3 digis of their choice.

For my DT project, I decided to make a card using the fun digi Your Love is out of This World.  I used the colored version, as well as the background paper. I used Picmonkey to change it up a bit. What do you think?

In Picmonkey, I also added the sentiment.  Once it was printed out, I matted it with Bazzill cardstock, added a ribbon, and mounted it all on white Bazzill cardstock. Not my usual method for making cards, but I really wanted to embrace the 'Make it Digital' theme.  Would you like to play along with our challenge?  It's really easy...just head on over to the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to see all of the rules. You can also check out the amazing DT inspiration projects by my fellow DT members.  I do hope you'll join us!  Thank you for taking a look.  Have a fabulous day!  I hope it's a crafty one:)

Stamp Anniething - Vanessa Cheese

Hi everyone! You might have noticed that my posting has gotten less frequent over the past few months. Because of changes in my everyday schedule, I have stepped down from some DTs.  I still love my card making, and I love being back in school, but there are only so many hours in the day!

Anyway...I've had some time this week to play around with some new stamps, and new products, so I did just that!  Here is a shaker card I made using the Vanessa Cheese stamp from Stamp Anniething.  Go check them out - their stamps are so cute!  I also wanted to play around with a shaker kit I recently bought from Queen and Co.  And it's a camera - they were meant to be together, lol!

Here is a look at the finished product.  I used light ink to stamp the image, using the no-lines technique. One I don't do very often, but I love the results!

Here is a closer look at this cutie:

The card is made with paper and shaker supplies from Queen and Company, lace, cheesecloth, and Wild Orchid flowers.  Kinda cute, I think.  What do you think?  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a lovely day!

Anyone who knows me, will tell you that I am not a sewer, lol! I can sew a button, but that is about it,  And even then, it's nothing I am proud of! Yikes!  Maybe a new hobby one day?  I used Faux stitching on mine.  I love the Stitched Square die by Lawn Fawn.  Looks so much better than any stitching I could ever do.
