Here is a closer look at Lil Angel:

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, My Mind's Eye paper (Stella & Rose), Wild Orchid flowers and leaves, and Sizzix dies. Stardust Enchantress

Hello everyone!  I hope you're having a nice weekend so far:)  We had a baby shower yesterday, and today is a football day for us. Busy but fun!  I would love to take a moment to share with you my DT project for the newest challenge on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.  Our theme for this challenge is 'Sweet Dreams of Christmas'.  We want to see images which feature moons, starts, blankets, napping, etc.  For my card I amusing Stardust Enchantress, and I've colored her mostly in neutral colors, including gold and silver.  I'd love to get your thoughts!

I added gold frantage for a little extra shimmer around the image:

For the card I used Bazzill Cardstock, Bo Bunny paper, brads and sticker (Rejoice), Wild Orchid berries and leaves, and glitter tulle.  I added Wink of Stella (clear) to the large star and to her wings.  It is so hard to capture that in photos though.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

We would love to have you join us over at the Lacy Sunbshine Challenge Blog and join our 'Sweet Dreams of Christmas' challenge.  There are beautiful projects by my fellow DT members to help inspire you too!  Hope to see you there.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Come Softly

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you have a fun weekend planned!  They always go by so darn quickly though, don't they?  Before I head out for the day I would like to share my latest DT Inspiration for the Ching Chou Kuik Facebook Group.  I've made a card using the beautiful digi Come Softly.  I hope you like her!

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E)0, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - YR31, YR24, E25, E29, YG93 & YG97; dress - B60, B63 & B66; butterfly - R22, R24, Y11, Y15 & Y17.   I used BV23, BV25 & BV20 for the background. The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from Authentique.  I also used dies from Tim Holtz (swirl) and Memory Box.  Fairly CAS for me, lol.  Please head on over to the Ching Chou Kuik Facebook Group and join us if you haven't already!  We share tons of inspiration, there are monthly challenges, and you'll find out all of the latest on Ching Chou's new releases.  Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

Charis

Happy Friday!  I hope you had a great week!  It is time for a new Anything Goes Challenge over in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group.  The twist this month is 'Use a Die Cut'.  For my DT Inspiration I used the gorgeous digi Charis.  I just love this image, and I hope you love what I did with her!

The Copics I used are: hair - E35, E37, YR23 & Y21; dress - YG67, YG17 & YG03; flowers - RV23, RV25, RV29, Y32 & Y38; snowflakes - BG000, B000, B00, BV000, BV00 & RV10.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

Here is a close up of this beauty:

For my card all I used is Bazzill cardstock, and Spellbinder dies.  The image has so much detail and color I really didn't want a card to compete with it. I did want to follow out optional theme, though, so I simply cut the image and several pieces of cardstock using graduated dies.  Each layer has foam tape behind it for dimension.  CAS, but I think it makes a statement. I hope you like it!

Have you played along with our challenges in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group? We have 2 challenges a month, and there are lots of chances to win some of Mi Ran's gorgeous digis.  We also choose Guest DT's with each of our Anything Goes challenges.  We hope to see you there!

Autumn Blessings

Hello everyone in bloggerland!  I am popping in to share a card I made for the new challenge on the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog.  We are sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps who will be giving the winner a very generous prize of 7 free digis!  How sweet is that?  Out theme this week is a fun one too - No Square Cards! I don't know about you, but my go-to card is the 6x6 square, so I really had to step out of my comfort zone a little.

For my DT card, I chose to use this fun digi called Girlz - Autumn Blessings.  I think she is so sweet.  I've colored a couple of their Girlz stamos, and just love them!  Hope you like my 'Not Square' card!

The Copics I used are: Skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E13, E15, E17 & E18; skirt - B91, B93, B95 & B97; shirt - YG03, YG17 & YG67; shoes - E21, E23, E25 & E29; pumpkins - YR14, YR21 & YR68.  I used a bunch of greens for the leaves and bushes, but didn't keep track.  There are so many that work.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from Farmhouse paper, ribbon, Wild Orchid flowers, and dies by Spellbinders and Memory Box.  I used my largest circle die for the folded portion of the card, and used a smaller scalloped circle and plain circle for the front.  I really do love this type of card, and I hope you do too.  We'd love for you to join our 'No Square Cards' challenge this week!  Head on over to the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog to see what the other DT members have created to inspire you, and to play along.  Thank you for stopping by!

Brr! It's Cold Outside

Good morning everyone!  We are starting a new challenge on the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog, and we've got a great theme for you this week!  The theme is 'Brr!  It's Cold Outside', which means we want to see your projects using the colors blue, white and silver. You do not need yo use a digi from The Paper Shelter to enter the challenge, but those using an image from The Paper Shelter will be eligible to win a $30 gift certificate.  Any winner not using a Paper Shelter digi will win 3 digis of their choice. For my DT project, I decided to make a card using Not Exactly a Big Bad Wolf'.  I just love this one!  You can find her along with tone of other amazing images over at PaperShelter.com.  I'd love to know what you think - does my card look like it's cold?

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - BG000, B000, B00 and B02; clothing - B91, B93, B95 & B97; hat - B000, B00 & B02; shoes - W1, W2, W3 & W5; wolf - C1, C3, C5 & C9.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card, I used Bazzill cardstock, Bo Bunny paper, snowflake embellishments from Michael's, and silver trim I've had in my stash for a long time.  I'm pretty pleased with the result:)  Would you like to play along with our 'Brr! It's Cold Outside' challenge?  It's really easy...just head on over to the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to see all of the rules and to upload your 'blue, white and silver' card.  You can also check out the amazing DT inspiration projects by my fellow DT members.  I do hope you'll join us!  Thank you for taking a look.  Have a fabulous day!  I hope it's a crafty one:)

Witchery

Happy Monday! Are you ready for a new week? It is also time for a new challenge on the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog.  As always, our challenge is 'Anything Goes' - doesn't get any easier than that, right? Our sponsor for this week is The East Wind.  I am such a huge fan of theirs.  They have so many gorgeous and bad-a$$ images to work with, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with one!  The image is called Witchery, and here is my card using her:

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E40, E42, E43, E47 & E49; dress - W00, W1, W2 & W3; flower - BG000, BG01, BG05 & BG09; hat - YG93, YG97, G21, RV23, RV25 & RV29.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

I really love coloring digis that are close-ups of faces.  And her hair - so much fun to color!

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock and paper from Sherri Baldy.  The image is so striking I decided to keep my card pretty CAS (clean and simple).  I was afraid embellishments would compete too much or be too distracting.  What do you think?

Why not check out our new challenge on the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog and play along?  The other DT members have amazing projects to help inspire you as well.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope you have a fantastic week!

Good morning everyone!  I hope you're having a fantastic weekend so far! We are starting a new challenge today on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.  We have a super fun theme this time - Tic Tac Toe!  Here is the board we are playing with:

I had loads of fun with it...I think my card fits a few of the rows!  Officially, though, I am going with 'Use a Digi/Sparkle/Lots of Layers'.  The image I am using is Sparkletini - Happy Hour Pinup

The image is printed on x-press paper.  For the added sparkle I sprinkled frantage around the image and heated from below with my embossing heat tool.  Here is a closer look at the embossing:

I was very excited to make my card for this one, because this is only the second chance I've had to work with one of Sami Stamps digis.

Monster Cheshire Cat

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a fantastic Halloween. Ours was a busy weekend!  Lots of fun though.  I'm here today to share my card for the new Anything Goes Challenge on the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog.  Our fabulous sponsor this week is Rick St. Dennis.  When I was picking my image for the challenge, my husband happened to pass by, and asked what I was looking at.  I showed him the images, and he asked if he could pick it for me.  I was game, so told him 'sure'.  It didn't take him long to pick one, and before he showed me, he said 'I want to you go outside of your comfort zone, so I picked one you probably wouldn't pick for yourself'.  Well, he was right! I admit I was a little concerned, but I am quite happy with my project using the very cool image called Monster Cheshire Cat.  I'd love to know what you think!

The Copics I used are: R11, RV52, RV55, RV66, B63, W2, W3, W9, Y15 & Y17.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

How cool is this cat?

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper by Prima, My Mind's Eye, and Doodlebug, Wild Orchid flowers, doily, and LaLa Land die.  Like I said, this is not an image I would think to pick, so I am thankful that my husband did.  I think I'm going to save it for the next time he goes away on a business trip, and slip it into his suitcase.  Thanks for taking a look.  I hope you will head on over to the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog and play along with our challenge!  Have an amazing week everyone!
