CC & CC Celebration!

Chocolate, Coffee & Cards is celebrating our 100th challenge!!  As you might guess, the theme for our challenge is 'Celebration'.  Please join us in making cards to share our celebration.  We are so lucky to be sponsored this week by The Paper Shelter, who has some fabulous images.  For my Celebration card, I am using Cheerleader, a super fun girl who is perfect for this challenge!

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E21, E23, E25 & E29; pom-poms - W00, W1, W2 & W3; clothes - RV10, RV13, RV14, BG01 & BG18; shoes - C1, C3 & RV10.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

Here is a close up of the colored image (and you can see the frantage I added for some sparkle):

I made an easel card using Bazzill cardstock, paper by Simple Stories and MME, Wild Orchid flowers, 'celebrate' sticker by WeR, ribbon, frantage, and dies by Sizzix, Spellbinder & LaLa Land Crafts.

The Sweet Gardener

Hello blogger land!  We've kicking off a new challenge over on the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenge Blog, and our theme for the challenge is '1 Button & 1 Bow'.  Our sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter, and I am using this adorable image called The Sweet Gardener.  I made an easel card to share with you, and I do hope you enjoy it!

The Copics I used are: hair - E15, E17, YR24 & YR31; clothes/hat - B00, BG000, BG01, YR16, YR18, Y08, Y11 & Y13; basket - E31, E33 & E35; flowers - R24, Y17 & Y21; leaves - YG45, YG67 & G21.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper/sticker from Echo Park (Homegrown), Wild Orchid flowers, LaLa Land Crafts die cut, ribbon and button.  It's funny, I NEVER use buttons on my projects (even though I have loads, lol), so the hardest part of making this for me was having to figure out where to place the button!  I recruited my daughter to help me with that part, lol.  She picked the perfect spot - right with the bow:)  Not sure what I'd do with out her. xx

When you have a chance we would love for you to join our challenge on the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenge Blog, and see what other amazing projects the DT has made.  Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Stamp Society - Handmade Flowers

Good morning all!  We are kicking off a brand new challenge over on the Scrapbook Stamp Society blog, and our theme is 'Anything Goes + Option Handmade Flowers'.  FUN challenge!!!  I'm pretty new to the 'handmade flowers' thing, so for this card I made the only handmade flowers I know how to make!  I know, not much of a challenge...but for the reminder post next week, I'm going to try something new!  I'd love to see what handmade flowers are your favorite!  For my card I used this sweet image which you can find here.  I'd love to know what you think!

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E4, E21 & R20; hair - E08, E19, YR14 & YR18; shirt - BG000, BG01, BG05, YG09 & R22; pants - YR23, Y21 & Y32; shows - W0, W3, W5 & W7.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper by Webster's Pages, dies by Spellbinder & LaLa Land Crafts, and Martha Stewart punch.  The sticker sentiment is by 3 Bugs in a Rug, and reads 'life is either a darling adventure or nothing'.  I love this quote by Helen Keller.

I made the flowers by punching different sized circles in different paper and used scalloped scissors to cut a spiral to the center,  I then rolled (starting from the outside) toward the center, and secured the center bottom with a dab of glue.  Next time I will take pics of the various stages. Super easy, and I like the look:)

Thanks for taking a look, and please be sure to head over to the Scrapbook Stamp Society blog to check out the other amazing DT work and to share your own.  Have a great week!

Frosted Rose

Good morning peeps!  Hope this week is a good one for you!  We are kicking off a new challenge over on the Craft Your Passion blog today.  The theme is always Anything Goes, and this week we are sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps.  Be sure to take part in the challenge for your chance to win:)

I am really excited to share a card I made using the image Frosted Rose by stamp designer Hannah Lynn.  I recently won some of her images (and bought a bunch more, lol), and this is my first time coloring one.  I love her work!  I'm really pleased with how it came out, and would love your thoughts:)

The Copic I used are: hair - E40, E43, E47 & E49; dress - R01, R02, R08 & R14; flowers - BG11, BG13 & BG18; leaves - YG93, YG97 & G21.

I made the card using Bazzill cardstock, paper & die cuts by Theresa Collins, flowers from Wild Orchid, and Spellbinder dies.  I also used a bit of Wink of Stella (clear) on her wing.  And actually, I colored her twice....the first coloring I did (same colors) looked great until the glitter came out in a big blob on her wing and ruined the image!  We've all been there, right?  I tried to salvage it, but it was too messy, so I re-colored her, and was waaaayyyy more careful the second time.  I've been using that glitter pen for a while - let's hope it's a one-time thing!

When you have a chance, c'mon over to the Craft Your Passion blog and join out latest Anything Goes challenge!  Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Pretty Pixie

Hi everyone:)  My weekend is winding down, and I've got a few cards I'm finishing up.  I'd love to share the first!  It's been a while since I have worked on a Simply Betty stamp, so I was happy to pull some of them out to play with this week.  First up is a card I made using the sweet image Pretty Pixie.  I'd love to know what you think!

The Copics I used are: hair - E31, E33, E35 & E37; dress s- YG00, YG23, YG25 & YG17; wings - G000, BG11, BG13, BG32, YR000, YR00, YR02, R01, R02 & R14.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper/word stickers by Webster's Pages (Nest), flowers/leaves by Wild Orchid, and dies by Spellbinder & LaLa Land Crafts.  I loved that it said so much, and I gave this to my (soon-to-be 13 year old) daughter, and told her to always remember the words: 'Live with Intention', and 'Find yourself and be that'.  She's such an awesome kid.  I hope she likes it. Thanks for looking!

Wryn - Sunny Day

Hi everyone!  I've been busy this week working on some DT commitments (can't wait to share them!), and decided to take a little time to make another 'just because' card.  I saw that the Tiddly Ink Challenge Blog has a new easel card challenge.  The DT work is amazing, and so inspiring.  I popped into their shop, picked up a few new digis, and got to work on my easel card, using Wryn - Sunny Day.  What do you think?

I love how she came out!  The Copic colors I used are: hair - E35, E51, E53, E57 & E59; dress - YR00, YR02, YR65 & YR68; leaves - G000, G12, G85, YG93 & YG97; shoes - W0, W3 & W5.

I made the card using Bazzill cardstock, My Mind's Eye paper, flowers from my stash, and dies by LaLa Land Crafts and Spellbinders.  The sentiment sticker is from Webster's Pages, and reads 'The secret to having it all is knowing you already do'.

Thanks much for taking a look:)  Have a crafty Hump Day!
