Spirit of Hibiscus

Hi everyone! Oh my, February is going by fast!  I can't believe the month is half over.  Today I would like to share my DT card for the new challenge on the CCC Digi Creations Challenge Blog.   Our lovely sponsors for this challenge is Aurora Wings. 

Our theme for this challenge is ''Favorite Color Combination'.  I have to admit that my favorite combination tends to change from time to time, so I used my current favorite - turquoise and purple.  For my project, I am using the beautiful image Spirit of Hibiscus. 

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E11, E17 & E95; flowers - BG10, BG11, BG13, BG23, BV0000, BV000 & Y17; leaves - YG23, YG45 & YG67. The image is printed on x-press paper. 

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from my stash (I actually just used it last week too, lol), flowers from Michael's and Wild Orchid, pearls, and dies from LaLa Land Crafts and Spellbinders. I hope you will hop on over to the CCC Digi Creations Challenge Blog and join our  challenge.  Check out the other gorgeous projects by my fellow DT members while you're there! Moon Goddess

Happy November!  I can't believe it...this year is flying by.  Time for a new challenge on the CCC Digi Creations Blog.  Our theme this month is 'Anything Goes', and our wonderful sponsor Aurora Wings - I just love their stamps.  They are so generous, as they are giving the winner $10.00 USD worth of digis from their shop!

For my DT project I am using the beautiful image called Moon Goddess.  I just loved coloring her...I hope you love her too! 

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - G21, G29, G46 & YG97; dress - YG00, YG01 & YG03; flowers - RV10, RV13, RV14 & RV19.  The image is printed on x-perss paper.

Wisteria Sprite

Happy Monday!  It is time to start a new Anything Goes challenge over at Craft Your Passion Challenges!  We are sponsored by the fabulous Aurora Wings who is giving away $10 worth of digis to the lucky winner!  For my project this week, I am using this adorable image Wisteria Sprite.  I just adore her sprites!  I hope you like what I've done!

The Copics I used are: hair - E35, YR23, Y21 & Y32; flowers - V06, V12, V15, BG11 & BG13; leaves - YG01, YG03, YG17, YG23, YG67 & G29.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes

Hello people!  Today is a brand spanking new challenge over at Craft Your Passion!  The theme is always 'Anything Goes', and this week we are sponsored by Aurora Wings, and I'm using her darling stamp Daphne Sprite.  I mean...c'mon...how stinking cute is this image?  This week I decided to try making a twisted easel card.  I think I may have gotten a fold backwards, but I'm thrilled with how it came out, and wasn't about to start over, so here she is...

The Copics I used are: skin E00, E04, E11, E21 & R20; hair - E31, E33 & E35; petals - R11, R20, R35. G000, G00, BG32 & BG34; pants - G000, YG03, YG06 & YG45.

The card is made with Bazzill cardstock, paper by My Mind's Eye, tag and die cut from Michaels, LaLa Land die, Kraftin Kimmie stamp, Memento ink, and flowers from Wild Orchid.  I found directions for the twisted easel on Pinterest (I've seen a few recently in challenges, and was ready to give it a go).  Like I said, I think I may have a fold done backwards, but it still works:)

I don't tend to use sentiments on my cards (something I'm trying to change), so for this one I stamped a sweet sentiment (from the Kraftin Kimmie 'Dandy Lion' stamp).
