Chef Charlotte

Happy Friday!  I hope you had a great week!  It is time for a new Anything Goes Challenge over in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group.  The twist this month is 'Professions'.  It was so easy for me to pick an image to use for this one!  I made a card using Chef Charlotte.  If there is anything I love to do more than coloring, it is cooking and baking.  If I was younger I think I would try to make a profession out of it.  For now, my family gets to be the ones who enjoy (I hope! lol) my food. Maybe one day...

Here is a closer look at her:

The only Copics I used are skin - E50, E51, E53, E93, RV10 & RV13; hair - E29, E37, E95 & E99; clothes - C00, C1, C3, BG10, BG11, BG32, RV04, RV10 & RV23; chocolate - E15, E17 & E18. The image is printed on x-press paper.

For my twisted easel card I used is Bazzill cardstock, paper and dies from Bo Bunny,  lace, ribbon, and flowers from my stash.   The saying on the bottom is 'Share the Love'.  I thought that was perfect, because that is why I love to cook.  It's one way to show my family how much I love them!

Have you played along with our challenges in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group? We have 2 challenges a month, and there are lots of chances to win some of Mi Ran's gorgeous digis.  We also choose Guest DT's with each of our Anything Goes challenges.  We hope to see you there!

Pin Up Zombie - Simply Betty Progressive Challenge

Good afternoon everyone!   I'm stopping by to share my latest Simply Betty project - this is a card I made for the new Progressive Challenge in her Facebook Fan Page Group.  The image is 'Pin Up Zombie' and the challenge is to use at least one patterned paper, ribbon, and to grunge it up in some way. I haven't done zombies before, so I hope you like how she came out.  I have to admit, I had a lot of fun coloring her:)

For my card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper form my stash, flowers, ribbon and a button.  I distressed the edges of the paper, and I made the paper behind her using distress inks, salt, and misting spray.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your week!

Meet Dragonfly

Happy Monday everyone!  We are having a mini challenge in the Ching Chou Kuik Facebook Group, and we would love for you to join us.  The challenge is to 'Make A Tag - Using 2+ Coloring Mediums'.  It can be any combination of mediums...Copics, colored pencils, ink, chalk, etc.  For my tag I am using Meet Dragonfly, and I've used Copics, distress inks, chalk and misting spray.  This was a lot of fun!  I don't make tags very often, but I think I'm going to start:)

I used the Copics to color the image, and chalked the background.  I made the paper for the tag using distress ink, and once dried, I misted over a stencil with misting spray.  A lot of work went into this!  I added some die cut pieces, tulle, a sticker sentiment, and ribbon.  What mediums are you going to use? Please head on over to the  Ching Chou Kuik Facebook Group  and play along! Hope to see you there!
