June Progressive Challenge - ABM

It's time!  Time for a brand new Progressive Challenge over in the Art by MiRan Facebook Group!  Do you know how this works?  Every month a new image is released that is to be used for the Progressive Challenge.  If you participated in the prior month's challenge, the image is free to you.  Yes, I said free!  How awesome is that?  And the images are all gorgeous!  If you're new to the challenge, you can buy this image at a reduced price, and as long as you participate, the next one is free.  That simple! (You can find more details in the Facebook Group).  Here is the card I made with the new image for June, named 'Bubbles Brea'.

The Copics I used to color up this beauty are: skin - E000, E00, E4, E11 & R20; hair - YR23, Y21, Y32, E33 & E35; dress - R00, R20, R22, R24, B000, BG000, BG11, BG13, E40, E43 & E47.  For the bubbles, I colored them with Y000, RV000 & B0000.  I then covered them with glossy accents, followed by a brushing of Tattered Angels Glam (Chandelier).

I made the card using Bazzill cardstock, paper by My Mind's Eye, Wild Orchid flowers/leaves, ribbon, and dies by Memory Box and Spellbinders.  I invite you to go check out the Art by MiRan Facebook Group to see the other DT creations, and to participate in this fun challenge.  Have a great weekend!

Wryn - Sunny Day

Hi everyone!  I've been busy this week working on some DT commitments (can't wait to share them!), and decided to take a little time to make another 'just because' card.  I saw that the Tiddly Ink Challenge Blog has a new easel card challenge.  The DT work is amazing, and so inspiring.  I popped into their shop, picked up a few new digis, and got to work on my easel card, using Wryn - Sunny Day.  What do you think?

I love how she came out!  The Copic colors I used are: hair - E35, E51, E53, E57 & E59; dress - YR00, YR02, YR65 & YR68; leaves - G000, G12, G85, YG93 & YG97; shoes - W0, W3 & W5.

I made the card using Bazzill cardstock, My Mind's Eye paper, flowers from my stash, and dies by LaLa Land Crafts and Spellbinders.  The sentiment sticker is from Webster's Pages, and reads 'The secret to having it all is knowing you already do'.

Thanks much for taking a look:)  Have a crafty Hump Day!

ABM Anything Goes - A Closer Look

Happy Friday!  It's time for another Anything Goes Challenge on the Art by MiRan Facebook Page.  i love this challenge!  Her images are all soooo much fun to color, and you have the freedon to create any type of project, any theme!  For this challenge I made a card using A Closer Look.

I used Glossy Accents for the glass in her magnifying glass.

For the card I used paper and buttons from My Mind's Eye 'Stella and Rose' line, Bazzill cardstock, LaLa Land die, and a ticket & evidence card I had from years ago.  I cut a 12" circle die-cut paper from My Mind's Eye into quarters, and used one of those quarters for the pocket (glued only along the straight side and bottom).  I also cut the banner 2 times in the same paper, and layered them.  For the top layer I used a pen to roll the edges up.  I had a lot of fun making this.
