Stardust Enchantress

Hello everyone!  I hope you're having a nice weekend so far:)  We had a baby shower yesterday, and today is a football day for us. Busy but fun!  I would love to take a moment to share with you my DT project for the newest challenge on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.  Our theme for this challenge is 'Sweet Dreams of Christmas'.  We want to see images which feature moons, starts, blankets, napping, etc.  For my card I amusing Stardust Enchantress, and I've colored her mostly in neutral colors, including gold and silver.  I'd love to get your thoughts!

I added gold frantage for a little extra shimmer around the image:

For the card I used Bazzill Cardstock, Bo Bunny paper, brads and sticker (Rejoice), Wild Orchid berries and leaves, and glitter tulle.  I added Wink of Stella (clear) to the large star and to her wings.  It is so hard to capture that in photos though.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

We would love to have you join us over at the Lacy Sunbshine Challenge Blog and join our 'Sweet Dreams of Christmas' challenge.  There are beautiful projects by my fellow DT members to help inspire you too!  Hope to see you there.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Sparkletini - Happy Hour Pinup

Good morning everyone!  I hope you're having a fantastic weekend so far! We are starting a new challenge today on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.  We have a super fun theme this time - Tic Tac Toe!  Here is the board we are playing with:

I had loads of fun with it...I think my card fits a few of the rows!  Officially, though, I am going with 'Use a Digi/Sparkle/Lots of Layers'.  The image I am using is Sparkletini - Happy Hour Pinup

The image is printed on x-press paper.  For the added sparkle I sprinkled frantage around the image and heated from below with my embossing heat tool.  Here is a closer look at the embossing:

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock and patterned paper (Holiday Style), and dies from Memory Box and LaLa Land Crafts.  As you can see, there are lots of layers to my card.  You can have fun with many of the combinations on the Tic Tac Toe board! I hope you will join our challenge on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.  My fellow DT members have gorgeous projects to help inspire you, so check them out while you're there!  Thank you for stopping by. Winter Love Note Fairy

Happy Friday everyone!  Yay...the weekend is here!  I hope you have some fun plans. It is also time for a new challenge on the Crafting With Friends Challenge Blog! As you may know, our theme is always 'Anything Goes' - no reason not to play along:)  For this challenge we are sponored by one of my favorite artists Lacy Sunshine.

She has so many amazing images, I always find it hard to pick just one!  But alas, I had to, so I chose to use Winter Love Note Fairy.  Isn't she gorgeous?

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E21, E23, E25 & E29; owl - RV000, RV10, RV52 & RV55; owl - E53, E57, E59 & E23; wings - E42, V93, R00 & YR000.  I used Pebbles Inc. chalk around the image.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, Prima paper, flowers and clock embellishment, pearls, lace, feather, cheesecloth and dies by Joy! Crafts and Memory Box.  I hope I've done this beauty justice!   You can see the other gorgeous DT projects on the Crafting With Friends Challenge Blog to inspire you.  And hey, while you're there, why not join our 'Anything Goes' challenge?  We would love to have you play along!  Have a great weekend!

Princess Rory

Happy Sunday!  How has your weekend been so far? Mine has been busy and loud - my youngest had a birthday party and some of his friends stayed for a sleepover, so I need a day of rest today, lol.  First, I want to share my card for the new challenge on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog. Our theme for this challenge is 'Once Upon a Dream'.  We want to see your fairytale projects!  For my card I used the sweet Princess Rory..  You can find her and tons of other gorgeous digis in the Lacy Sunshine Stamp Store.  Do you think my card is fit for a princess?

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E13, E15, E17 & E19; dress - RV19, RV52 & RV55; crown - Y21, Y26, Y28 and various Wink of Stella glitter markers.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

Isn't she lovely?

I wanted to do something happy and bright for the card, so I used Bazzill cardstock, KaiserCraft paper and sticker (Fiesta), ribbon, gold crown pin, LaLa Land die and Wild Orchid flowers.  I have a couple of young nieces that might like this one.  Perhaps I should make another and send one to each. I invite you to head on over to the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog, check out the amazing projects out DT has made for your inspiration, and to play along with our challenge!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I appreciate it more than you know!

Monster Mash!

Halloween will soon be upon us, and over at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog we are celebrating by having a 'Monster Mash' themed challenge.  We want to see your spooky, scary, cute or fun (or any/all combinations of that) projects! You can find tons of images in the Lacy Sunshine Digi Shop which would be just perfect! For my project I am using Eleanor & Pickles Ve Vant Candy!  Instead of making a card like I usually do, I decided to make an altered printers tray.  I would love to know what you think!

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - V09, V12 & V15; dress - YG17, YG21, YG23 & YG25; pumpkin - YR65 & YR68; frog - YG17, YG21, YG23 & YG25; capes - BV20, BV23, BV25 & BV29.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

How cute are they?

To decorate the printer's tray, I used paper from WeR, stickers from Paper House Productions and Recollections,  and ribbon. The chipboard embellishments I have had for ages, and do not know who they are from.

I used a lot of foam adhesive to add dimension inside the different sections.  I also rolled some paper (see below), and stacked strips of paper mounted with foam adhesive in the upper corner.

I had so much fun with this one!  It's now part of my Halloween decorations inside my home. Please help us celebrate Halloween by heading over to the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog and joining our 'Monster Mash' challenge. The DT has awesome projects to inspire you!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

For my project, I am using the image Annabelle Melancholy Moppet. Don't you think she's perfect for this theme?

The Copics I used are: hair - E08, E19, YR14 & YR18; eyes - YG93, YG95 & YG97; lips - R56 & RV32; hat - V93, V95 & V99; clothing - V93, V95, V99, YG93, YG95, YG97, B12 & B16; shoes - W5, W7 & W9; bench - E71, E77 & E79; bird - W2, W5, W7 & Y17; flowers - Y17, Y32, B12, B16, E42 & E47. The image is printed on x-press paper.

Even before I started coloring her, I knew I was going to have to use paper and stickers from the Graphic 45 line 'Olde Curiosity Shoppe'.  It is one of my favorite paper lines ever!  I also used Bazzill cardstock, tulle trim, flowers from WIld Orchid, and dies by Memory Box and LaLa Land Crafts.  So not what I normally create, but I love it!  I might have to try this theme again sometime!  Please hop on over to the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog to check out the other 'Weird and Whimsical' projects by the amazing DT, and to play along with this fun challenge!  Thanks for stopping by:)
