Jason's Owl Steampunk

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.   I'm stopping by to share my DT project for the new Anything Goes challenge on the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog.  Our sponsor for this week is Rick St. Dennis who will be giving the winner 2 single images from  their store.   I am using this cool image Jason's Owl Steampunk, and made a tag with it.  I don't often make tags, but I thought this image was perfect for one!

The Copics I used are:  R56, R59, V04, V06, Y26 & Y28.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

I made the background paper using acrylic paint, gelatos, spritzes and a stencil.  in addition, I also used  Bazzill cardstock, cheesecloth, ribbon, Tim Holtz ticket, and Authentique word stickers.  If you head on over to the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog you can check out the gorgeous projects made by my fellow DT members.  Also, while you're there, won't you join our Anything Goes challenge?  Hope to see you there!  Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week.

Monster Cheshire Cat

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a fantastic Halloween. Ours was a busy weekend!  Lots of fun though.  I'm here today to share my card for the new Anything Goes Challenge on the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog.  Our fabulous sponsor this week is Rick St. Dennis.  When I was picking my image for the challenge, my husband happened to pass by, and asked what I was looking at.  I showed him the images, and he asked if he could pick it for me.  I was game, so told him 'sure'.  It didn't take him long to pick one, and before he showed me, he said 'I want to you go outside of your comfort zone, so I picked one you probably wouldn't pick for yourself'.  Well, he was right! I admit I was a little concerned, but I am quite happy with my project using the very cool image called Monster Cheshire Cat.  I'd love to know what you think!

The Copics I used are: R11, RV52, RV55, RV66, B63, W2, W3, W9, Y15 & Y17.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

How cool is this cat?

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper by Prima, My Mind's Eye, and Doodlebug, Wild Orchid flowers, doily, and LaLa Land die.  Like I said, this is not an image I would think to pick, so I am thankful that my husband did.  I think I'm going to save it for the next time he goes away on a business trip, and slip it into his suitcase.  Thanks for taking a look.  I hope you will head on over to the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog and play along with our challenge!  Have an amazing week everyone!

Halloween Cheer

Happy Halloween!  Today on the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenge Blog we are kicking off a new challenge, and our theme is 'Halloween'.  It's not very far away now, is it?  Yikes - I still have to buy candy for the trick-or-treaters.  Our sponsor for this challenge is the amazing Rick St. Dennis - he has so many digis which are perfect for celebrating Halloween, don't you agree?  For my card I am using Halloween Cheer digital stamp.  The card is darker than what I usually make, but I felt it suited the theme.

The Copics I used are: pumpkins - YR04, YR07, YR15 & YR31; candles - YG21 & YG25; flames - Y15, Y17 & YR16; skull - W00, W2 & W3.  The image is printed on x-press paper.  I used Pebbles Inc. chalk around the image.

For my card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper, skull and sticker by Recollections, ribbon, doily, and Wild Orchid flowers.  I invite you to check out all of the awesome Halloween projects the DT has made for your inspiration over on the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenge Blog. Today kicks off a new challenge on the Craft Your Passion Challenge blog.  As always, our challenge is Anything Goes, and this week we are being sponsored by Rick St. Dennis, and the prize is two single images from his store!  Sweet, right?  For my card I used Coutoure One Fashion Digi Stamp.  I'd love to know your thoughts...

The Copics I used are: hair - E71, E77 & E79; dress - R11, R20, R14, R17, E40, E42 & E43; shoes - C1, C3 & C5; feather - B21 & B24.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper by Graphic 45, lace, Wild Orchid flowers & Tim Holtz die.  I chalked the edges with Color Box Chestnut Roan.  I loved the big world feel of this image, so this paper seemed perfect.  We invite you to check out the other awesome DT projects over on the Craft Your Passion blog, and whole you're there, why not play along?  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week!
