Scrapbook Stamp Society - IMG805

Good morning everyone! I'd love to share with you my card for the Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge Blog.  My card is a reminder for our current challenge  'Anything Goes + Option of Distressed Edges', and we would love for you to join us!  Here is my DT card using  IMG805. I had so much fun coloring her!

Here is a closer look:

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93, E95 & R11; hair - E21, E23, E25 & E29; dress - R00, R01 & R02; wings - BV0000, BV000, BV01, BG000 & BG01; mushroom - R22, R24, R27, E42, E42 & E47.  I used chalk for the background. The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from my stash, Wild Orchid flowers, lace, and Dutch Doobadoo stencil.   We would love for you to join us over at the Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge Blog and check out our challenge. The other DT members have beautiful projects to inspire you as well!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Snug but Stylish

Good morning everyone!  We are starting a new challenge on the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog, and we've got a great theme for you this week!  The theme is 'Distress the Edges'. You do not need yo use a digi from The Paper Shelter to enter the challenge, but those using an image from The Paper Shelter will be eligible to win a $30 gift certificate.  Any winner not using a Paper Shelter digi will win 3 digis of their choice. For my DT project, I decided to make a card using Snug but Stylish.  Isn't she great? I mean, after all...don't we all want to look fabulous, even when it's cold outside?  You can find her along with tons of other amazing images over at PaperShelter.com

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E21, E23, E25 & E29; jacket - BG11, BG13, BG23 & BG49; hat - R43 & R46; shoes/gloves - BV23, BV25 & BV29; stockings - R81 & R83; bench - E31, E33, E35, E37, C1, C3 & C5; purse - E74, E77 & E79; grass - G43, G46 & E33.  I used Pebbles, Inc. chalk around the image.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card, I used Bazzill cardstock, Bo Bunny paper, lace, ribbon and cloud die cut.  I'm pretty pleased with the result:)  Would you like to play along with our 'Distress the Edges' challenge?  It's really easy...just head on over to the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to see all of the rules and to upload your 'blue, white and silver' card.  You can also check out the amazing DT inspiration projects by my fellow DT members.  I do hope you'll join us!  Thank you for taking a look.  Have a fabulous day!  I hope it's a crafty one:)

Creative Knockouts - Distressed

Hey there everyone!  I hope you are having a great night (day)!  We kick off another challenge over on the Creative Knockouts blog.  The challenge this week is 'Distressed', and we are sponsored by the fabulous  Lacy Sunshine.  You won't want to miss this one - you could win 3 of their digis!

The image I used for this challenge is the gorgeous Far East Enchantress.  I just love all of their Enchantress digis...it was hard to choose!

The Copics I used are: E000, E00, E04, E11, E21 & R11; hair - E40, E43, E47 & E49; dress - R01, R02, R08, YG00, YG03, YG17 & YG25.

For the card I used paper from the Basic Grey line 'Konichiwa' (I just LOVE this line - you've probably seen it here before, lol), lace, and Tim Holtz die cut ( Caged Bird).  To distress my card, I used my handy-dandy Heidi Swapp 'Edge Distresser' which I bought about a hundred years ago.  Love this little tool:)

Typically, I like to add flowers to my cards (again, you've probably noticed, lol), but for this I only added a single small rose to her hair.  There is a flower on the image, so I added this one over it for a little 'pop'.  Cute, huh?

Thanks for taking a look!  I hope you'll hop on over to the Creative Knockouts blog and share your distressed project with us!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Ruby's Rainbow - Anything Goes
