Emma Blowing Bubbles

Hello everyone!  I would like to share with you my DT card for the new challenge on the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog.  This week our theme is 'Sew it Up'.  You can have real or faux stitching on your project.

The sponsor we have for you is Fred She Said Designs.  They will be giving the winner a $10 Gift Certificate to their store.   For this challenge I am using this cutie called Emma Blowing Bubbles. I incorporated faux stitching in the hills (using a die cut).

The Copics I used are skin - E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E93 R20 & R32;  hair - E35, E37, YR24 & YR31; dress - YR16, Y17, Y32, Y38, R22, R24, R35, R46 & R59; bubbles - BV0000, BV000, BG0000, BG000 & RV000.  I added Wink of Stella to the bubbles.   The image is printed on x-press paper.

For my easel card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from my stash, Wild Orchid flowers, Bella Blvd. stickers and Spellbinders dies. We invite you to join us over at the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog and play along with our 'Sew it Up' challenge.  My awesome fellow DT members have gorgeous projects to help inspire you too!  Thanks for stopping by:)

Pumpkins & Sunflowers

Hi there bloggerland!  I am here to share a card I made for the new challenge over on the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog.  Our theme for this week is 'Thankful Thoughts', and we are sponsored by Fred She Said Designs who is generously giving the winner a $10 Gift Certificate to their online store.

They have a lot of wonderful images that work perfectly for our 'Thankful Thoughts' theme.  For my card, I am using Pumpkins & Sunflowers.  Just perfect for the Autumn season too!

The Copics I used are: pumpkins - YR02, YR18, YR23, YR31, YR65 & YR68; flowers - Y06, Y17, Y32, YR15, YR16, E71, E77 & E79; leaves - YG01, YG93, YG95 & YG97.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

For my card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper by Authentique (Nestled), lace & bow.  The sentiment 'simply said from the heart...thank you' is from a Stampin'Up set I have had for years.  I hope you like it!  I am very thankful for each and every person that takes the time to look at my blog. xx

Please head on over to the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog, and play along in our 'Thankful Thoughts' challenge.  The other DT members have beautiful work there to inspire you as well.  Have an awesome day!

Creative Knockouts DT

Good morning!  I am SUPER excited to announce that I'm now part of the Design Team over on the Creative Knockouts blog.  Today we have a new challenge for you - Floral Delight.  Our sponsor this week is Fred, She Said Stamps, and I have the pleasure of using their beautiful Tulip Bouquet digi.  This was a bit of a challenge for me, because it's the first floral image I've used.  I'm quite pleased with the finished project:)

The Copics I used are: flowers - YR00, YR15 and YR18; stems/leaves - YG00, YG03, YG17 and G29; pitcher - Y32, YR24 and YR31.

For the card I used a variety of papers from My Mind's Eye 'Stella Rose' line.  I cut 2" strips, and used a Martha Stewart edge punch for the layers at the bottom of the card.  I used ribbon rfom my stash to frame the image, and also behind the image to transition from the paper strips to the top portion of the background.  I used Quick Quotes powder puff chalk in Mango Mai Tai and Tahiti to edge my papers.  Thanks for looking!

Don't forget to head on over to the Creative Knockouts blog to see all of the lovely DT projects, and to play along with the challenge.  Have an awesome day!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Creative Craft Cottage - In the Garden
