Marie Antionette

Hey there Blogger Land!  It's time for a brand new challenge on the Creative Knockouts blog!  This week our theme is 'Anything Goes' - it doesn't get any easier than that, right?  We are sponsored by SLS Lines, and they are giving away an awesome prize - a $10 gift certificate to their store.

For my card, I am using this very cool and beautiful image called Marie Antionette.  I just love all of her hair, and those cupcakes are so cute!  I had so much fun coloring her! I'd love to know what you think.

The Copics I used are: hair - V09, V06 & V01; cupcakes - E13, E35, E37, R22, R27, RV000, RV02, RV04, RV13 & RV14; bow - YG01, YG17 & YG23.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from Bo Bunny (Smoochable), fibers, and dies from LaLa Land Crats, Sizzix and Spellbinder.  I hope you will head on over to the Creative Knockouts Blog and join our challenge.  While you're there, check out the amazing projects from the rest of the DT.  Have a great day!

Autism Fairy Breanna

Happy Monday morning everyone!  I'd love to share my card for the brand new challenge on the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog! Our theme is always 'Anything Goes', and this week we are sponsored by Di's Digis who are giving a $10 Gift Voucher to the winner.  Great prize, right?  For this challenge we were able to use any image by any stamp company, so I made an easel card using Autism Fairy Breanna by Faery Ink.  I gave this to my daughter, and she really loved it:)

The Copics I used are: hair - R02, R11, R14 & R17; eyes - Y21, Y26 & Y28; dress - E40, E42, E71, E77 & E79; wings - YR0000, YR00, YR02, B0000 & Wink of Stella (clear).  The image is printed on x-press paper.

I used foam tape behind the image (I do this with every image I cut out), and folded her wings forward a bit to make them 3D, like they were coming off of the page.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper and quote by Webster's Pages, lace, ribbon, and dies by Spellbinder and Joy! Crafts.  I especially loved the quote 'Always Remember, You Are Loved', as I made this for my daughter.  I'd love to know your thoughts!  And please head on over to the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog to check out the other beautiful DT work, and to play along in our new 'Anything Goes' challenge.  Have a great week!

Angelica's Giant Pumpkin

Hey everyone!  How is your summer going down?  We're in our second week of school, so summer has kind of ended for us, but it's hotter than ever.  Boo!  How about a fall themed card?  Has me wishing for the cooler months!  The card I am sharing is for the new challenge on the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenges Blog, and our theme is 'Use a Sentiment'.  We are sponsored by Inky Impressions, and I am using this sweet image - Angelica's Giant Pumpkin.

The Copics I used are: hair - E43, E47 & E49; clothes - W1, W2, W5, R35, R37& R39;  pumpkin - YR23, YR31, YR18, YR65 & YR68; leaves - R08, YR14, YR23, YR24, Y26, Y28, YG01, YG93, YG95 & YG97; squirrel - E13, E15, E25 & E29.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from Farmhouse Paper Company, sentiment sticker from MME, flowers and leaves from Wild Orchid, and ribbon.  I chalked the edges of the paper with Colorbox (chestnut roan), and I used Pebbles Inc. chalk for the background of the image.

Please pop on over to the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenge Blog to see the other amazing work my our DT.  While you are there, we invite you to play along with our 'Use a Sentiment' challenge too! Have a great day!

Annabelle Melancholy Moppet

Hi everyone!  It is time for a brand new challenge over on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog!  I had so much fun with the theme of this one - Weird and Whimsical.  We want to see projects that are somewhat 'strange'...think Tim Burton. For my project, I am using the image Annabelle Melancholy Moppet. Don't you think she's perfect for this theme?

The Copics I used are: hair - E08, E19, YR14 & YR18; eyes - YG93, YG95 & YG97; lips - R56 & RV32; hat - V93, V95 & V99; clothing - V93, V95, V99, YG93, YG95, YG97, B12 & B16; shoes - W5, W7 & W9; bench - E71, E77 & E79; bird - W2, W5, W7 & Y17; flowers - Y17, Y32, B12, B16, E42 & E47. The image is printed on x-press paper.

Even before I started coloring her, I knew I was going to have to use paper and stickers from the Graphic 45 line 'Olde Curiosity Shoppe'.  It is one of my favorite paper lines ever!  I also used Bazzill cardstock, tulle trim, flowers from WIld Orchid, and dies by Memory Box and LaLa Land Crafts.  So not what I normally create, but I love it!  I might have to try this theme again sometime!  Please hop on over to the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog to check out the other 'Weird and Whimsical' projects by the amazing DT, and to play along with this fun challenge!  Thanks for stopping by:)

Heartstrings - ABM Progressive Challenge

Hey there everyone!  We are kicking off a new Progressive Challenge in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group today, and this new image is sooo stinking cute!  Every month Mi Ran creates a new image that is used for the Progressive Challenge. If you participated in last month's challenge, the image is free to you. If you're new to our challenge, you can buy the image at a reduced rate, and as long as you participate (enter a project into our challenge) the next month's image is free.  Sweet deal! For more details check out the pinned post in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group.  Here is my project using 'Heartstrings'...

The Copics I used are: hair - BV20, BV25, BV29 & 100; dress - YR14, YR16, YR18 & Y17; shoes - C1, C3, C5 & C7; hearts - FV2.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, Doodlebug paper/die cuts (Haunted Mansion), lace, ribbon, and flowers from Wild Orchid.  The papers are from a really cute Halloween line I've been itching to use, and for some reason I felt like she was the perfect one for it!  I think I wanted to be sure not to make it didn't look too much like a Valentine's card, and I went to the opposite end of the spectrum, lol.  I'm really pleased with how she came out though:)  I hope you'll join us over in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group for this challenge!  Thanks for stopping by, and have an awesome weekend!

Eleanor and Pickles - Play Ball

Happy Friday everyone! I'm here to share my DT project for the brand new challenge over on the Crafting-With-Friends Challenge Blog.  Our theme is 'Anything Goes', and this week we are sponsored by one of my favorites - Lacy Sunshine.  For my card, I am using the adorable Eleanor and Pickles - Play Ball. Isn't she sweet?

The Copics I used are: hair - E11, E13, E15 & E18; sweater - YR02, YR14, YR16 & YR18; pants - B91, B95 & B97; shoes - W1, W2, W5 & R35; flowers - R32 & R35; homeplate - E40, E42 & E43; Pickles - R11, R20, YG03, YG17 & YG23. The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from Jillibean soup, twine, and sticker from Basic Grey.  For the baseball, I backed it with an 'Action Wobble Spring'.  It's hard to see in the picture, but it bounces off of the page!  I've had the springs in my stash for about 3 years, and this is the first time I've ever used them, lol.  It's a really cute effect - I might have to find another opportunity to use them!

Thanks for taking a peek.  The other DTs have great projects to inspire you, so please head on over to the Crafting-With-Friends Challenge Blog to check them out and give them some love.  While you're there, we would love for you to play along in our challenge!  Have a great day:)
