A Spring in Her Step

Just popping on today to share a card I made this for the new challenge on the East Wind Challenge blog.  The challenge is 'A Spring in Her Step', using spring colors, flowers, etc...and what better image than a lovely girl holding a bouquet of flowers! You can find this image 'Aurora' 'Love Mom' in The East Wind etsy shop.

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E04, E11 & R20; hair - E31, E33, E35 & E37; dress - RV000, RV02 & RV06; flowers - Y17, Y32, YG00, YG03, YG06, YG09, YG93, YG97, B12, B16, E71, E79, R02, R08, V12 & V15.

For the card I used a quarter of a piece of Best Creations die-cut paper(pink), green polka dot paper, and flowers from Wild Orchid.  I placed a few pink flowers over the flowers on the paper for a little extra 'pop'.  Thanks for looking!  Hope you have an awesome day.  I'm off to work on a few DT projects:)

New Release Day for Karleigh Sue!

Oh, I'm so excited to share this with you!  It's finally time to reveal my DT make for the brand new Karleigh Sue digis!  I hope you love them as much as all of us on the design team do.  They're all amazing!  I'm pleased to share my card with you using 'The Sea Can't Hold Me Mermaid'.  My first time coloring a mermaid! The Copics I used to color her are: skin - E000, E00, E04, E11 and R20; hair - E53, E57 and E59; eyes - YG06 and G05; tail/fin - Y00, Y17, Y21, Y32, YR000, YR14, YR18, R00, R08, R20, R24 and R27.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from Trinity Paper Arts (Surf n'Swim), Cosmo Cricket (Salt Air), Zva bling, Wild Orchid flowers, and a Memory Box die.  I also added some individual pieces of chunky glitter to her tail.

Capture the Moment

Happy Sunday!  I've just finished a card using an image from The Paper Shelter.  I just discovered their awesome stamps, and am in love!  This image, Capture the Moment is my favorite of theirs!  I'm taking a photography class, so she reminded me of myself!  I wanted to use my favorite colors on her...green, pink and orange.  Love it!

Goblin Queen

Just wanted to pop on real quick before I head off to bed (I need to stop staying up 'til 1am crafting!).  I made this card yesterday for the Goblin Queen Challenge going on over in the Simply Betty Facebook Group.  The challenge is 'Are you Light, or are  you Dark?'.  As you can see, I went with a light theme.  Although I think I'll make a dark one too...we've all got a little bit of a dark side to us, right?

Today I get to host the Karleigh Sue Inspiration Blog again!  I'm just having too much fun with her images:)  For today I wanted to try one of her sexy girls...Sexy Selfie.  Here's the card I made:

I also used Stickles (waterfall) and a white gel pen on the water.
